how it works: custom covers
step one
Contact me to discuss your project. We will schedule your design slot and determine your cover design needs. At this point, I will send a contract and an invoice for the non-refundable deposit to secure your slot.

step two
You provide me with all the details for your project via the client questionnaire. If I have an additional questions, I'll contact you. I keep your information in your file until it's time to start designing.

step three
Around the time of your booking, compile information from our initial conversations, as well as the information you provided on the questionnaire, and from there, I'll design the initial draft.

step four
You will provide opinions and feedback on the initial design. From there, we'll make changes and adjustments until we arrive at the perfect cover for your book.

step five
Once the design has been approved, I will finalize it. At this point, let me know if there is anything you'd like to add (marketing graphcis etc). I will send the final invoice. Once paid, you'll receive your finalized files.

WHAT IS YOUR AVAILABILITY?
Currently I'm booking one to two months out, but if your needs are more urgent, don't hesitate to contact me.
CAN I PROVIDE MY OWN IMAGES?
Yes! But they need to be properly licensed and not all images will work for a book cover. It's always best to check with me before purchasing.
CAN I ORDER THE EBOOK COVER NOW AND UPGRADE TO PRINT LATER?
Absolutely!
SHOULD I WAIT UNTIL I HAVE THE FINAL PAGE COUNT TO ORDER THE PRINT WRAP?
You do not need to wait until your manuscript has been formatted for print to order the wrap. I can adjust the spine to whatever size you need once you know the final page count.
DO YOU SELL YOUR PREMADES MORE THAN ONCE?
Never. Once you've purchased a cover, it's exclusively yours.
I WANT TO BUY ONE OF YOUR PREMADES BUT I HAVEN'T SETTLED ON A TITLE YET. SHOULD I WAIT?
No. Premades are first-come-first-served and I don't place holds on them. I do, however, hang onto your files forever, so once you've decided on a title, let me know and I'll get the cover adjusted for you.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
All my invoices are sent through PayPal.
WHO HOLDS THE COPYRIGHT?
As the designer, I retain full copyright. However, once payment has cleared, you possess an exclusive license. In other words, you are the only person who can use the cover. I am able to showcase the designs for portfolio or promotional purposes, but I cannot resell the design.
